Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Grand Cherokee L comes in six different trim levels, and for most of them, you get the choice between a 4x2 and 4x4 cabin. The levels are Altitude, Laredo, Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit reserve. These trims allow you to choose between an 18 and 20-inch machine face or fully painted aluminum wheels and five beautiful options for exterior colors: Baltic Gray Metallic, Bright White, Diamond Black Crystal, Silver Zynith, and Velvet Red Pearl. You can even get a black-painted roof for a sleek finishing touch.
Engine (Power)
The Grand Cherokee L's engine offers a 3.6-liter engine with a six-cylinder configuration. This gives you the power of 293 horsepower with the ability to go up to 6,400 RPM. It has a rear-wheel drive with an 8-speed automatic transmission which nets you a payload of 1,380 lbs and a towing capacity of up to 6,200 lbs to give you an SUV that not only has power but can work with you too.
Performance
The Cherokee's 23-gallon tank gives you 19 mpg for city driving while leading to a smooth 26 mpg for the highway. It also gives you an engine with an auto start-stop system, meaning the engine will turn off at points where you're at a full stop. This lets you continue to save fuel even when you're in the worst of traffic.
