Trim Levels (Exterior)

For the Chrysler 300's final year, the automaker brought back the 300C trim, bringing the total number of trims to four: Touring, Touring L, 300S, and 300C. The limited-edition 300C commemorates the legendary 1955 C-300. You'll notice the iconic wide grille and aggressive stance, which are aspects the automaker has maintained throughout the 300's production. The sedan comes standard with 17-inch wheels, but 19- and 20-inch ones are available. Fog lights and a panoramic sunroof are available.

Engine (Power)

The 2023 Chrysler 300 has almost as many engine options as trims available. The standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine gets 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It also has two Hemi V-8s, with a 5.7-liter engine that produces 363 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque and a 6.4-liter one that cranks out 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The latter engine is reserved for the top-of-the-line 300C trim, making it the most powerful 300 ever built. A smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive come standard, but the base engine has optional all-wheel drive.

Performance

When it comes to fuel economy, the 2023 Chrysler 300 achieves about average numbers compared to others in its class. Models with the base engine and rear-wheel drive get an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, while all-wheel-drive models get 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. Those with the 5.7-liter V-8 engine see 16 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, and the 6.4-liter V-8 models get 15 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

Interior

A four-door sedan that easily sits five people, the 2023 Chrysler 300 comes standard with cloth upholstery, while leather upholstery, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel are all available. The quiet cabin does an excellent job of keeping out the wind and road noise. The sedan has 16.3 cubic feet of cargo space, which is about average when compared to other vehicles in its class. The 60/40-split folding rear seats make it easier to store longer items. Its straightforward Uconnect 4C infotainment system is accessible via an 8.4-inch touchscreen display. The large icons are easy to read, and the system responds quickly to prompts. Some of the other standard technology features include Bluetooth, HD and satellite radio, two USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Safety Features

Even though the 2023 Chrysler 300 only comes standard with a rearview mirror, it has plenty of additional driver-assistance features you can add. A few of the more noteworthy ones include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, and automatic high-beam headlights.
