Trim Levels (Exterior)

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator is a medium-sized pickup truck. The Gladiator sports a classic Jeep Wrangler front end with a 5-foot truck bed in the back, so there's plenty of room for all of your equipment and gear. Exterior design features include a removable roof and doors, the signature Jeep vertical slot grille, and circular headlights. A soft top comes standard, although a hardtop is available as an add-on. The 2023 Gladiator is available in Sport, Sport S, Freedom, High Altitude, Overland, Mojave, Rubicon, Texas Trail, Willys, and Willys Sport trim levels.

Engine (Power)

The Gladiator's base engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that pairs with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine configuration produces 285 horsepower. There's also an available 3-liter EcoDiesel engine that pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. No matter which engine you choose, the Gladiator provides plenty of power to get you where you want to go, whether it's on or off the pavement.

Performance

For 2023, Jeep makes the Gladiator with four-wheel drive. Gladiators in the Rubicon trim level include a specialized four-wheel drive function that's designed specifically for rock crawling. When drivers equip the Gladiator with the proper towing gear, it has a tow rating of up to 7,700 pounds. The Gladiator also features a payload rating of 1,710 pounds. Gladiators with a manual transmission get 16 mpg in the city, 23 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg combined. Automatic models get 17 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg combined. Choose the Gladiator with the turbodiesel engine, and fuel efficiency numbers come in at around 22 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg combined.

Interior

Standard interior features include a 7-inch touchscreen for information and entertainment, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Base Jeep Gladiators also come with crank windows, manually-adjusted seats, and manual door locks. Available interior features include power windows, power door locks, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen for information and entertainment. Higher-level trims also get enhanced interior trim, leather seats, and a premium audio system. Additional USB ports and navigation are also available for upper-level trims.

Safety Features

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator includes an abundance of safety and driver-assist features such as a rear back-up camera that integrates with Jeep's UConnect touchscreen and trailer sway control. The Gladiator also utilizes a system of four airbags to help keep passengers safe on the road or trail. Available safety features include automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitoring system, and parking sensors. Jeep also equips the 2023 Gladiator with available adaptive cruise control, rear park assist, full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, and rear cross-path detection. For 2023, Jeep offers warranty coverage for three years or 36,000 miles and powertrain warranty coverage for five years or 60,000 miles.
