Marysville, OH, is a scenic and natural place where you can unplug and enjoy the great outdoors. Additionally, there are plenty of great parks right in the town itself. 2. Union Country Joint Recreation District 

Visit Union Country Joint Recreation District at 16000 Country Home Road for one of the best playgrounds in the state. This massive play area has slides, swings, monkey bars, and plenty of places for kids to climb and scamper around.

There are also some playing fields, tons of trees, and pavilions perfect for sitting down and having a picnic. Plus, the space is clean, well-maintained, and safe. It’s slightly outside the downtown core but still accessible and close enough to visit for the afternoon.

3. Greenwood

Greenwood, at 220 Collingwood Drive, is a truly beautiful park with tons of hiking and biking trails, well-maintained grounds perfect for picnicking, sports fields, and a playground to entertain the kids. It’s also a wonderful place to hike and bike at sunset. If you’re looking for a nice slice of nature in Marysville, give Greenwood a shot.

4. McCarthy 

Visit McCarthy Park, at 301 N. Cherry Street, if you’re looking for a convenient place to relax and play with the kids that’s centrally located. This place has everything that you need for a fun few hours, including a pavilion, playground, bathrooms, and a basketball court. There are also a few trails for those that want to explore the wooded areas of this town.

5. Eljer

Eljer, at 401 E. 9th Street, is a great place to play beach volleyball, tennis, or a game or two of basketball. There are also playgrounds, plenty of amenities, and some pavilions to sit and relax with the family. Plus, there’s lots of parking nearby, a modern playground, and plenty of lush grounds and trails to explore.
