The McCarthy Park Activity Center is available for rent for birthday parties, weddings, and other special events. The activity center includes a kitchenette, large enough for cooking or serving food for up to 60 people, as well as restrooms and plenty of parking space.

Delaware State Park

Delaware Park is a state park in Delaware County, Ohio. It is located about 1 mile south of Marysville. The park features over 2,000 acres of gently rolling terrain and some of the best wildlife viewing in Ohio. The most popular attraction at Delaware State Park is the scenic Delawana Lake. The lake offers opportunities for boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.

Madison Lake State Park

The park offers cabins, campsites, and rental trailers for visitors who want to stay overnight. The campground has 240 sites with water and electric hookups, as well as primitive campsites for tents only (no electricity or water).

You can reserve sites online through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources website. Several trails wind through the park’s forests, leading to scenic overlooks of the lake and its surrounding wetlands. A visitor center offers exhibits on the park’s history and natural features.
