Picnic areas and natural play areas make this a good option for the whole family. Visit the Metro Parks website for directions and more park information.

2. Glacier Ridge Metro Park

Glacier Ridge Metro Park features easy trails ranging from 1/2 mile to 5 miles in length and many more activities. Try out the playground with an obstacle course and zip line after your ride for a truly adventurous day.

3. Alum Creek Greenway Trail

The Alum Creek Greenway Trail is a 25.2-mile paved trail for all levels of riders. These trails are very well maintained, making for a smooth ride. For those looking to extend their ride, the trail connects to a variety of other paths in the area, such as the Blacklick Creek Greenway Trail.

4. Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park

This large park is popular with visitors for its field of bison that can be viewed depending on the season of your visit. It features bike paths of varying lengths which are flat and conducive to riding. Try out a 5-mile ride on the Darby Creek Greenway or the moderate, lengthier Camp Chase Trail for more of a challenge.

5. Prairie Oaks Metro Park

Prairie Oaks Metro Park features a lake and over 2,000 acres of land to explore on your bike. With ample space, these are the perfect trails if you are looking to avoid a crowd. Visitors can also spend time on the lake boating and fishing.
